a sometimes life
by Deb

what an adventure
we human beings
stumble upon
if we are lucky
we start
the transitory journey
with whole-hearts
trusting and loving
and if kindness
is packed gently into
our travel sack
we break it like bread
to share along our way

breathing
by dot

my body is transitory, from earth to breath and back
and in its kindness for human beings the soul
that inhabits the mutating and every changing host
seeks out new adventures
whole-heartedly, not timidly
wanting to experience life to its fullest and its
kindest
with an intent of doing no harm to any living thing
to be mindful of differences
and similarities
we all share
the same breath

Hi Dot,

I love this poem and I love this particular set of prompts. I am especially drawn to"...the soul, that inhabits the mutating and every changing host, seeks out new adventures..." Very nice!
