when one goes to sleep at 2AM or 3AM the day always returns too soon. but tonight I danced with my eyes, not with sheikhs and cowboys but with dancers and high wire walkers and teeterers and wheel of death walkers I sat amazed, and held my breath and watched awed heart pounding and happy that tonight I would be in bed early by midnight (oops, I missed it) okay, by 1AM (if I hurry) so that tomorrow morning the 9AM alarm will not announce a too early day because there will have been enough sleep.
gust upon gust wind whips its angry tail, slashing and crashing throwing unseen and menacing depris an unknown something hits the house and i wonder was that a cowboy boot and if so where is the owner
and rain sways and slants rippling rhythmic water like a large harem dancer stomping her bejewelled toes on our metal roof she shimmies strong seeking the favor of tonights storm sheikh
i curl and cuddle loving this kind of storm it steals my unkind energy and leaves me calm but i know with all certain knowing this storm will pass night will be taken by dawn and the day will have returned too soon
I have a submissions calendar page. These are culled from P&W, Duotrope, CRWOPPS, emails and friends. Feel free to add the Google calendar in its entirety to your calendar or add specific events.
